This painting was inspired by an interaction I had with a very large bull in Yellowstone Park. I spent the better part of an hour sketching and photographing this heavy hitter before he became annoyed with my presence. Although I was a good 50-60 feet away this large fella raised up from this laying position and turned his head to a 3/4 profile and give me the 'evil eye' and express his displeasure with me. At that point I felt moving on was the best idea!
